Noontime Update
Peaches is doing better - she is for the most part active and alert and being more puppy-like. However there are still periods where she is tired and sleeps. Also the vet noticed everytime Peaches sits, she holds her legs stretched out in front of her, which isnt normal, and when Peaches walks, sometimes she walks normally, and sometimes with her legs held out in a gait, not normal. This is something we noticed since October Crown as well. She no longer runs and bounces.
The vet (www.petfriendssunnyvale.com) did a full nerologic exam and Peaches is having trouble with her hind legs indicating that there is probable spinal cord injury, although x-rays just done don't show anything slipped out of place. She is going to continue monitoring her today. She recommended continued hospitalization with a vet trained in neurology to give her neurologic exams every 4 hours to see if she improves. I dont know what we are going to do
